We ask that everyone observe our entry screening protocols (no Covid symptoms, not currently under isolation or quarantine requirements) . Although the event will be outside, we are expecting a large crowd and strongly recommend masking.

A few notes to help you prepare:

Food will not be sold at our Obon Dance, but come early and eat at one of our great local restaurants.

Public dressing rooms will not be available this year. Please come dressed in your Yukata's.

Obon Dance (odori) List

This year we will be dancing many of our Obon favorites along with Kangi-E a newly created Obon Dance for the Buddhist Churches of America by Nobuko Miyamoto.

The audio recording is downloadable and accompanied by a dance instruction video on the BCA Music Committee’s webpage: www.buddhistchurchesofamerica.org/music.
